Hi Guys,
Was looking around for a Focusing Screen for E-3 and found Katz. As per the site, the installation only be performed by "authorised" workshop. Wonder if anyone has successfully done this through DIY or a workshop? Thanks. |

If you really have to use a split prism, you can do it on your own. The E-1 was fairly easy, but the E-3 might need a step by step instruction from them. I removed mine before and installed it back without much drama. Be careful about scratching it. If you have doubt, you can bring it to some workshop for help. There are a cluster of them at the Peninsular/Adelphi area. Cheers.

Well, the E-1 screen was DESIGNED for the USER to change, but the E-3 focus screen holder has a different design, which is why Katz said, "the installation only be performed by "authorised" workshop."
