488RC2 and 190xprob

this is my first time getting a tripod and a tripod head and i would am more or less decided on them. Some things i would like to ask.

1. Any cons to getting the two manfrotto models?

2. what's the best price for both of it?

3. Steps to making sure the tripod and tripod head is working well.

1. Which 2 models ? I only see 1 head model and 1 body model.....

2. You gotta go to the shop and bargain.... see if you can get a packaged deal. Start at CP with the prices as a benchmark ?

3. The 488RC2 and the 190XPROB are not quite suited together : 488RC2 has a max load of 8KG while the 190XPROB has a max load of 5kg. Use the configurator on the Manfrotto website to help you zoom in on your needs....

Usually people get the 190xprob and the 486rc2 together. About S$300 odd iirc.
