peterpan1975 and myself tried last saturday at orchard road, but we had a problem.
we tried 17-24mm, but couldnt cant get the shape with these focal length. when using 50mm, the subject has to be around 1.2m so that i can get the bokeh. may i know what focal length did you used? also, what size (agar agar) is the hole you made? also, i am thinking that since 50mm can get the bokeh, but difficult to compose the shot with human subject, will it be better when using a full frame (we used d60 and 50d).

for me, i just used manual focus and blew out the whole focus to get the shape. my heart shape hole is approx 1.5/2cm.
