close distant 30mm or 50mm f/1.4, otherwise 24/28-70/75mm f/2.8

tele: 135mm f/1.8 or 2.8, 70/80-200mm or 200mm f/2.8, budget len would be 70-210mm f/4 beercan.

The 70-200G f2.8 should be around 2.9K. Alternatively you could check if the Tamron 70-200 f2.8 is already available on Sony mount...this will be a cheaper route.

To start with, i think the best low light lens ( i rather call it BIG aperture) to go for is the 50mm f1.7. Its cheap and useful to me.

Slowly if you want, zoom down to what you usually shoot, mostly u will end up with a F2.8 zoom but depends on which range u prefer to have.

the sony 70-200mm f2.8 will cost about 3k, tamron and sigma (both f2.8) will cost about 1.3 to 1.5k, the tokina f2.8 will cost about $800? beer can 70-210 f4 will cost $250 to $400 for a 2rd hand lens. Beer can is the slowest here and it focuses quite badly in dark areas.
