The 1st one has no impact whatsoever, the 2nd one is much better.

I like the #1, but if the head of the bird behind is not seen that will be the best...

When i was looking into the view finder only the foreground birdie head can be seen. Just when snap the pic. The other pigeon's head pop up. Sign...

took more than 10 shots. And this one is what i feel the best.

#1 what aperture did u use? you will need a large aperture to blur the other pigeons.

#2 NICE movement! but again using a large aperture would help to enhance the focus of the picture. but it's a great capture nonetheless.

you using a p&s?

#1 Using aperture of 7.1. I've tried using other aperture size by i think 7.1 gives me a sharper image. My largest aperture is 3.5 at 18mm

2# I guess i need to upgrade my tools liao.

Using D80 with 18-135 lens.

hi mentol...

upgrade?? hahah.. i think d80 is alr pretty good... suggest u stick with it! i don't own a dslr...

7.1 gives overall sharpness, but to use a wide aperture u need to focus correctly.. as the sharp focus area is very small and the rest of the image will be blurred... probably why u think it's not so sharp...

keep shooting and learn your equipment inside out!
