Ngee Ann Polytechnic, School of Film & Media Studies is different form Nanyang film school (http://www.nanyangfilm.edu.sg/).
Everyone know NP is local poly whereas Nanyang film school is origin from China.. I know the principal in person.. most of their students from China as well. Someone already put up a list of some other institute: http://www.clubsnap.com/forums/showthread.php?t=256050 Last edited by sundazz; 4th December 2008 at 06:15 PM. |

I was from Film, Sound & Video (Ngee Ann Poly) and felt tat I really learnt alot from the course. It's also very recognised abroad too cuz i was able to get advanced standings when I tried to apply for Australian Unis after that.
I didnt succeed in getting in on my 1st try. So I waited 1 year (retook some O levels subjects too to try to improve on my aggregate and english scores) and then re-applied the following year and managed to get it. Don't be disheartened. If you wish to go for somewhere other than ngee ann's course, I'm sure that there are some other video courses around too. Nanyang poly? lasalle? |

Most things actually can be self taught if you willing to work harder then those who go film school.

Try the Robert Rodriguez Film School. One of the most highly regarded in the world and NO PREQUISITES beyond a deep love for filmmaking.
