With digital we shoot and delete like there is no tomorrow. I was thinking if we take time to compose and time our shots, we can improve faster.
Shall we have a friendly competition to take just 36 shots within a week/weekend and share the top 3 pics of the week? Anyone interested? |

why not use the APAD thread then? get ready for the 2009 one lo. then label your thread title beginning with PTX (for pentax),
[PTX - Simplytimo] - APAD 2009 You'd get alot more comments from there too, not just from pentax users ![]() |

We tried that once, several years ago. It's a photo trip to Chinatown, we tried to limite our shots to 36 total for the whole day, and using one normal lens only. But ended up no one could stick to that number. I used an M50/1.4 manual lens, and managed to take only 52 shots during the day, a very low number for me

I think this is a very fun suggestion, definitely we can improve along... 1-3 hours of photography, is play play... to really learn we needed a fullday marathon.
Because no two photographers even with all the same gears can have identical pictures. |
