Mould on Scanner?

I noticed that there are some white spots on the underside of the platen which look like mould. Is it worth to replace the glass platen?

y not clean it by urself?? i did tat sometimes ago ... using soft cloth , and it works .... but must provided that the glass can be dismember la ..
