what no bird... I saw a bird in the skycrapers shots...

Lighting a bit harsh on some, maybe a C-PL might do some good.

    Good work... ^^

This is something different from you.
I like the 2nd & 6th one... did you take them today? Really nice skies.

Hi, your composition on the 4th shot is Superb! In my very own humble opinion, the yellow buoy is really a distraction to the whole photo.

Admirable Please share with me the setting and equipment used. Thanks in advance.

    Hmm..
The bird on the "Skyscraper beside the Singapore River" is slightly distracting. Maybe photoshopping the bird off would help.

    Cheers!

Thank You all for your comments, sure appreciate and will take note of it. It was shot on Sat 6 Sep, the sky was blue.

Hi nolongerloner, the details of my set up can be found in the EXIF in each individual picture in my gallery: here

    Postcard shots. NICE

Good colours in your second shot - "Clarke Quay" (err, isnt' that Boat Quay?)

Your shot - To the Esplanade looks a little slanted to me, though.
    But overall Nice pics.

wow, tarzan came to town ehhh...

    had enough of the mosquitoes?

For someone that is relateively new in town, the above pictures are quite remarkable but there are ample rooms for improvement.

Did you shoot from around 12 - 2pm? The lighting looks pretty harsh to me.

The Clarke Quay (not Boat Quay meh?) and Sir Stamford Raffles pics are best of the lot.

Supreme court, composition wise, is really good but the lighting or the sky wasn't. I think this composition will also look great at night, provided that the trees are still sufficiently lighted up.

Keep a lookout for tiny distraction: Is the white round bit at the bottom right a street lamp?

    Good pics nevertheless...

Hey chngpe01 nice series. Noticed some spots in some of the photos (sky). Hopefully its just dust on the outside of your lens. Low on insect repellent forced you into the city?

    Hi bluz,

Not really low on repellent just that lately most of my "playground" was fenced and locked out kena forced into the city.

Unfortunately the spots are dirt on the LCD, guess I need to do a CCD cleaning liao.

Back from the States already? nice to hear from you.

    Cheers
