Hi Guys,
Do you guys know how to remove the extreme "cyan" (sorry, don't know the tech term) during PP? Thanks very much. New to IR photography, any advice would be much appreciated. ![]() ![]() |

did you do a channel swap between red and blue channel ? i do that usually to get blue skies instead of blue trees.

Thanks for the comments. I Have modified my D70 to do these pics. I have came across a website that shows way of removing the strong "cyan" using photoshop, but I didn't bookmark it... Regrets!!! The other pics turn out ok but didn't get the blue skies that I wish I had. Hmm... I always have problem taking white balance off the green grass with my D70, could only take white balance off the blue sky... Any advice? Thanks very much...

Using photoshop, go Image-adjust-hue/saturation, click on cyan from the drop down menu
and move the saturation slider to the left. The image itself contains a lot of cyan so it would be better to select these areas first. As teerex notes, overexposure is the real villain here. Cheers.......... |

Thanks for the advice... Well, I suppose the pic I have attached is far too over exposed... :-) |
