Default Changi jetty morning

This was taken at sunrise as you can see from the tinge of red on the top left corner. I wanted to show the stillness of the morning and the stillness of the boats at the jetty.

3 shots were taken and processed in hdr.

do comment and critique. thanks.

good work. Personal preference: a brighter scene. No feel a wakeup call mood though. Just an opinion, if you can do another exact shot overexpose abit and bring out the shadow in the woods, blend it and other areas where it's too dark, I feel it will be very very nice I'm a goer for digital blending and like how DanielKHC does it.

hey david thanks for commenting.

just wondering if the shadows are lightened, would that cause the scene to be less naturalistic? even to the extent on becoming surrealistic?

glad you like it.

do you think the railing that cuts into the frame is detracting from the focus of the photo i.e. the sunrise?
