16GB card for D90?

Hi all, plan to get a 16GB card for my D90, but not sure it fit or not? anybody advice? many thanks

As long as it is in the shape of SDHC, it should fit.

check your D90 manual... lots of info inside to help you with most everything you need to know to use that camera well...

Unforunately, manual only say SD and SDHC compliant. I'm using 8Gb but don't see why 16Gb and 32Gb shouldn't work also.

I think it should work. Best thing to do is to test on the spot when buying...

I think it's not so much as NEED as because card prices have dropped so much, that it makes sense to buy a larger capacity card as they are rather affordable.

A yr back people rather have 2x 4 GB than an 8 GB. Nxt yr ppl will have 2x 16 GB rather than 32 GB.

As long as it is reliable maker and keeps good speed, get one at your comfortable price.

8 GB Extreme III 30 MB/s goes for a cool S$99, while the "normal" 16 GB Ultra II (15 MB/s) can be had for only S$65 at SITEX...

The 30mb/s was design to compliment the D90.. Sandisk Press release

As to whether you need the throughput, is up to the user.. You can check the benchies here

Although it has not hit the max for the card, results seemed better than using other cards.

hi guys, i want to get the sandisk 16gb sdhc for my d90 also. But anyone use it with d90 yet? Does it works even when the card is quite flooded with pics?

Only affects the buffer fill rate. The 30mb/s allows you to burst at 4.5fps for more shots than a other cards.. but reviewing images will not have much benefits..
