I like the last pic, the white building is really white with no blue cast.

Thank you all for viewing and your opinions. They give ideas in variants for post processing. As for the posted pics. Each is the result of 5 bracketed shots and tone mapped for DR. Last edited by teerex; 27th November 2008 at 10:45 AM. |

Infra Red (IR) can be done 2 ways:- 1. Using a normal DSLR, place a IR filter over the lens to shoot. This method, depending on brand and model of camera exposure time and results may vary. 2. Using a IR modified camera. The AA filter inside the DSLR is replaced with a IR filter. Exposure time is as per normal of a un-modified camera. Modified cameras shoot only IR, can be reversed by removing the IR filter and re-installing the AA filter. Whichever way you choose to shoot IR, some post processing with an editing software is required. The extent of post processing depends on the type of results you want. |

hi teerex,
ir forums has been quiet. i wanted to shoot a few from london just to get things moving and keep it alive but the weather here has been disappointing. hope all's alright. i like the processing! works for me. a bit too cluttered though, the first picture, too many elemetns fighting for attention.last few are also nice, but do not like the people in the picture. ![]() |
