Talking juz received my 55-55mm adapter...

from http://www.cameragear.com/adaptertubesfuji.asp @ US$6.41 + US$4 delivery.

got it in my mail 1 week after the order only to realise that the screw threads were dented probably due to the delivery and i was not able to attached it to my 602 at all

immediately sent them a mail on the damage and recvd a reply on the same day with apologies and also that a new one is on the way!! now this is wat i call excellent customer service.

juz recvd the second adapter in my mailbox today... in good working condition

anyway, took out the faulty adapter after dinner... tried to meddle the screw threads with the help of a pen knife and a metal file (hey, what have i got to lose rite... after all i just got a new one ).

guess wat?? now even the faulty adapter fits snugly into my 602... so now i have 2 adapters

price is the main factor... believe the original is selling at S$50-55, the one i got is less than S$20. anyway, heard from MS Color that its not sold individually (in S'pore) but bundled with the Fuji TC or WA lens.

u can always use a step-up/down to solve the problem... anyway, me juz bought my TCON-17 (55mm)

the price of 55mm filters seem alrite to me from the price chart of UV filters at http://www.cameragear.com/uv.asp

it all depends on wat rate your bank is using... the current xchg rate is abt 1.76 and bank usually charge higher, 1.9 shld be quite a safe bet.
