hi guys,

I have this lens but I am just puzzled why i cant seem to zoom out to 35mm, apparently that's the macro range

Anyone owns this lens as well? Could you enlighten me on this issue? Thanks

I think the focusing and zooming ring has an interlocking mechanism such that you can only turn to the macro range when you've focused to a certain distance. Either that or there is a button for you to press before you can go into the macro range.

Either that or the lens is already faulty.. Used to play with the 2.8 version long long ago so can't quite remember already.
