Default The Moon Tonight......Your half and my half

    Hiee...

Here is a photo of the Half moon tonight...View from my kitchen window.
Taken with a G2 with the aid of the Celestron Tabletop 76 telescope....

With some crater names....taken from a moon map...

looks like the golf ball makers took the moon as a design example...

    Tripod Coupled...

    Hi Spectrum,

I believe you are replying to Sulhan's Half Moon thread so I merged the two. You might want to use "Post Reply" instead of "New Thread" to reply to posts so that the reply stays in the same thread.

    Default The Tabletop 76

    Hiee....

I got it while i was in the US last year......Got this little one as its VERY easy to setup. However....its meant to be portable...very portable...so normally have it in the trunk while on my road tips....couple with the Software form Meade for stargazing.

This little one is only suitable for Moon and wide angle consteallation views...and does not have any tracking....

I normally mount it on my slik tripod.....

I really like it.......its not suitable for Bird Scoping as the image is inverted - A characteristic of a reflector configuration......

It costs about $100++ USD i think.....

PROS would call this a kids toy!!!! hahahahaha......
