Why do you want to buy a tripod to carry around?
Jokes aside, both about the same in terms of weight. But I have to admit the CXPRO looks more fierce.

190CX3PRO. I've been using it for a few months, never regretted looking back. Worth every penny paid for...

maybe you should look for Travel tripods like Benro's Travel Angel or JL Photo's Gitai Nomad Travel Tripod?

Benro's Travel Angel (C-169 08) Site
Nomad Travel Tripod (A169) Site

If you want something more sturdy, try the 055xprob. quite heavy at 2.5kg but i find it very solid.

i've actually never heard of that shop. will check it out. thanks for sharing the info..just wondering, is there a shop selling tripods at a good rate, say 10-20 bucks cheaper than the others? erm i'm trying to say.. like for eg. i got my cam from cp, coz they are selling the 450d at the cheapest price 1117. however, i found cp to be more ex for tripods (manfrotto) as compared to shops like TK.

Manfrotto 190CXPRO3. I bought it about 3 weeks ago from MS Colors and very happy using it.
I carry it for the whole day (with 486RC2 attached) but doesn't feel heavy at all due to its very light weight.
