Built solidly like a tank, full metal construction and takes 77mm filters. Lens barrel does not extend while zooming or focusing. Gold ring - top of the lens lineup!

Very very fast, almost instantaneous auto-focusing on any AF bodies.
Usable on FX bodies as this is not a DX lens, in case you have plans for upgrade to fullframe bodies.

A much much cheaper alternative to the Nikon version. Image quality is very pleasing.

Comes with original packaging, hood, pouch, boxes, manuals etc.
