wanted to put under photo galleries thread but dunno which one cause got different subjects in this shoot.

Nice stuff. But question: How did it get fungus infested? Dry cabi failed for a couple years?

i think it's more of been abandon. sigh..... poor lens. but still good!
on side note, fungus infested lens doesn't mean it still cannot perform. would like to hear from others on how they bring the most out of this lens........ anyone? |

very nice shots you have there jacob. the 50/f2 is really nice, i use it mainly for still life and urban abstracts.

headfonz, i love the shots you've posted, i'm looking forward to buying this lens on my coming hk trip in dec.. Hope it will be cheaper there.

thanks redtealongan! i couldn't really find many shops that carry a wide selection of oly equipment when i was in HK in Jul. most shops (incld Wing Shing) only stock the E4xx/E5xx kits. there's a thread with the HK prices so you might want to check that out.

This leaves our best friend, Kowloon Life for "order before landing"... just give Paul a call and ask him to order whatever you need, and if there is a need to, give them your credit card number to "book" the product. Just don't sabo the rest of the community by ordering and not honouring the order. I will personally kick your butt should I turn up at the shop again and Paul kick mine! ![]()

Always call before going down. They have limited space for their store and their priority is selling Leica over any other brands. They are the official Leica reseller.
