Need some advise from users here.
Previously was using SLR Camera, I am thinking of purchasing a Canon 450D or 40D Should i purchase the kit lens (EFS 18 - 55 IS) or is it better to purchase body + Tamron AF 17-50mm F/2.8 XR Di II LD ? |

If your previous SLR camera was Canon, guess what..can reuse the lens just that manual focus only. as for which lens, try first to see which lens suits you.

yeap, go for the tamron lens, it is a much faster lens with more range compare to the canon kit lens,

Unfortunately I am a Nikon SLR User. Gonna try Canon DSLR for now. Still comtemplating between 450D and 40D.
So its recommended to get the body with Tamron 17-50 lens. |

The Tamron is a good lens, its just that when you need to have it serviced,,,may or may not be troublesome.
