Exactly 3 years ago when the 5D was launch, Sitex had the 5D for sale but no demo set. So is either you take out cash to buy or see it in the box. heee

I was there with my uncle and he bought the 5D there and then.

hmmm a bit too late le. they normally look for people to work like 2-3 weeks for the show.

Just came back from Tokyo. Japan selling 5Dm2 on 29 Nov so didn't buy back in time.
Most probably get the camera in HK or SG next month.

Maybe considering the G10 instead and delay the DSLR till next year.
"Hang Cheng Boh Ho" need to conserve money.

my japanese friend is discouraging me to get it from japan with the strong yen vs the weakening Sing Dollar man... sigh... just hope the gradient doesn't tilt any further against us that the price rise even more =\

but even if you get it else where, the price of the cam still pegged with yen right?
i remember seeing prices for lens in spore going up due to the rising yen.

Holiday?...nope...work.
Pass by Disneyland...not my kind of place.

Gadget, not much...you can get most of those stuff in SG nowadays.
Only got a couple of J-Pop CDs and this (see image below) ...from Akihabara

... too many things to see and too many pretty girls to drool on. For the girls bit see my facebook, and that is probably only 5% of what have seen for the past 6 days.

So cute. What does this mini R2D2 do? Projector Clock? Whats that tablet pc looking next to mini R2D2? Looks like u have big harvest in japan

So what prompted the G10 decision? I'm looking at the Lumix LX3 or the Nikon P6000 or G10, think price wise the LX3 cheapest & lightest but G10 has got the zoom range i want. Decisions decisions...

Oh ya, the japanese girls r all so kawaii :bsmile:

Why G10? Read ->this<-. Also, I am a Canon Fan boy

The R2D2 is a USB HUB, cost me 7K Yen.
