General question about product shots here... if the product has a glossy surface, you have no $$$ to splurge on lighting and you are relying on just indoor ambient light, are there any filters you can use to remove those bright reflections caused by the lighting on the glossy surface?

Haha thanks for the link... didn't realise someone asked a similar yesterday...
So looks like the short answer is no filters can clear the reflections...

Correct and it's VERY difficult even when you have control over the lighting. You'd still need to know clearly how the light is going to land on your subject and how you can direct it and block certain parts of it to give you a textured look and yet, not blow the shiny parts.
