I used it on my A700, slightly slower than my Sandisk Extreme 3 CF. Real world experience hardly notice performance difference, unless u do 5fps burst shoot but I guess the DSC-W150 not need lah.. I use a Sandisk 8Gb MicroSDHC in the adapter.

Anyway for "branded" adaptor, I manage to find Transcend brand MicroSD together with the MS Pro Duo adaptor. Supposed to be lifetime warranty.

Bought from Sim Lim Square 4GB for $28 (Class 6). Works in my W150 as well as as SDHC (with another $10 MicroSD->SD adaptor)

Bought this for $25 at Funan. Can insert 2 MicroSDHC for a max of 32GB. I have not tested yet though. Anyway not using it with 2x 16GB microSDHC yet coz price of 16gb MicroSDHC is kinda steep now, my 8GB CF is sufficient at the moment (cRAW = 600 shots). Actually bought this intend to use on PSP rather.

How much is a 8GB microSDHC? Does it make it worth while to shell out $25 for the adaptor instead of buying an 8GB Memory Stick from Sony or Sandisk?

A Kingston 8Gb MicroSDHC SD4 selling for $33 a piece, so adds up to $91.

Compare this to the cheapest 16gb CF from Kingston at $56 or Sandisk Extreme 3 at $170 or MS Pro Duo at $56.

For me, it's not about affordability but I'm a gizmo junkie. I convince myself that I need a universal flash card that can be use as a usb thumb drive , eg sandisk mobilemate adaptor or can be use as a storage for my Motorola HP or for my PSP (microsdhc to MS-pro adaptor) or for my Prosumer cam (MicroSDHC to SDHC) or my DSLR ((microsdhc to MS-pro adaptor).

I know somewhere or sometime in the future if for whatever reason my CF kaput on me, I can take out my HP microsdhc card as use it for my cam.

No need for a separate SDHC or MS Pro Duo or M2 or CF or Thumbdrive, ONE MEMORY FORMAT TO RULE THEM ALL. But after saying all that, if I now I need to burst shoot like during an airshow, nothing beats a fast CF card like the Sandisk Extreme 3/4.

To end that, I personally hate all these manufacturers going by different standards, especially, **ahem**, Sony, but on the bigger picture it's good for innovation and consumer.

Hahaha.... you're so funny... well... too many formats for my liking... realise that the newer SONY MS PRO DUO or the Sandisk compatible cannot be read by normal MS card readers...
