As above. (Assuming if u r not using RAW file). Can the autoWB of the camera be trusted?

I almost dun use the AutoWB on D100 once I've calibrated the Pre-WB. Now my Pre-WB gives accurate colour 95% of the time.

Well, almost, I've used it for natural lighting inside buildings, outdoors (non direct sun), studio lighting (high key and low key) and a few other occasions. If I find the colour unsatisfactory, then I changed to the specific WB like tungsten, fluorescence, etc.
Some of the occasions that I will not use my Pre-WB is under direct sun, foreground dim and background bright or when need arises to change to the WB. ![]()
