This shot works for me... First adjective that came to mind was
    "breath-taking..."

    Nicely done.

I like the mood of the pictures. Looks like it is going to rain. It would have been better if all the horses are in line. Nice B&W pics.

    Thanks all for your comments!

    Wolfgang,
that adjective is probably too flattering...

    Steven,
even in colour, the clouds were ominously dark... definitely agree on the "going to rain" part...

    sehsuan,
my 1st and initial thought was "Raiders of the Lost Ark" (this was shot almost 2 years ago)
after watching LOTR, yes, Nazguls come to mind!!

Its really a beautiful shot and further dramatized by B/W and the riders against the background to give the scale!

    good picture.

Quite a moody picture, give me a sense of suppressed energy, just like the storm about to break, leaving a slight hint of sunlight coming from out of the picture, as evidenced by the shadow of the horses. Maybe that's why people think of the ringwraiths when they see this pic. Quite oppressive and breathtaking at the same time.

Do you have another one without the horses? I think the sky and sea alone, properly printed would be quite stunning.

    Thanks fuhyong for the critique!

I have some other shots w/o the horses but not quite in the same perspective. I have shots with the sky only, shots with sky, sand, sea but hmmm.... no sky and sea alone
