Rashkae, Thanks for your reply.
I went to Sony Gallery at Junction 8. They did not display any battery charger.
I never ask the Sales Assistant, because I don't know what's the model for my battery at that time.
Yeah, you are right. this battery might be phased out already.
Normally I charged the battery with my Camera (DSC-P1). However, my camera shows the battery is fully charged whenever i plug in the power adaptor. Without plugging in the power adaptor, the camera shows battery is flat.
I suspect the camera might have problem charging the battery. That is why i want to buy a battery charger to charge my battery.
I know that my camera is old already but it still can take very nice 3.2 megapixel underwater picture with my underwater pack.

Rather sounds as if the battery is the culprit. How old is it anyway? No external charger will help you if the battery is worn out and cannot be charged anymore.

Octarine, thank you for your reply.
Quite impossible the battery is the culprit. Because I have two batteries.
Furthermore, the battery can be charged with my camera if i am very lucky. Even it can charge, it is not fully charged like normal.
That is why I guess the Camera is the culprit.

That is usually an indication that the battery is no longer holding it's charge... The charger usually doesn't get spoiled easily... and for batteries, their rechargeable lifespan is about 500-800 times... about 2 years they're gone already... in your case, are both batteries not getting fully charged? Are they Infolithiums? How do you know they are not charged fully? How old are the batteries?

If you plug in the AC adapter, it will display battery full maybe because it's supplying electricity to run your camera... I don't think the camera will continue to show you the battery's power with the AC adapter connected...

It might also be rusted or dirty contacts inside the battery compartment that results in the intermittent charging of the battery inside your camera...

Have you tried EastGear and see if they have a charger for your battery? www.eastgear.com.sg

Hi TME,

The batteries are infolithiums, one is old and the other is new. Both cannot charged with my camera body. As I mentioned, even it can charged. It is also not fully charged.
When I plug in the AC Adaptor to my camera. it display shows the battery is fully charged within a minutes (impossible to charge the battery fully within a minutes, right?). When I switch on the Camera without the AC adaptor plugging in, my LCD screen shows the "Battery is weak" icon and switch off automatically by itself.
Inside the battery compartment of my camera is clean and rust free.

TME, thank you for your concern.

And good news to everybody is that somebody has PM me his offer of his used charger for this battery. And I also have found out that MS color selling third party battery charger for this kind of battery.
My problem is solved. Thank you to all whom concern.
