DIY Oly XA flash

Dear XA users,

have any of you seen or heard of DIY-ing an external flash onto an oly xa?

anyone with any experience creating hotshoes, let me know. thanks.

anyway, i flick-mailed the guy who did the mod, and this was his reply

"I don't have a website, I gutted an old A series flash, took parts off a junk SLR camera to add a hot shoe to the top. Wired hot shoe to the sync contacts on the flash unit. hardest part is finding a junk camera that has a flate hot shoe assy."

my question to all you modders / zhngers here, how do you wire the hot shoe to the sync contacts? i'm confused about this part. thanks!
