    which aspect of the lens do u want to know? the first thing that i'll tell u is that it is damn heavy.

    2.8 to 300 is quite cool

    I know - 2kg plus. You manage to handhold this? I guess if I purchase it, I will couple it with a mono.

    i dun think handholding is possible. its even heavier than the 100-400L. my test shot was done mounted on a sturdy tripod.

    maybe handholding the lens is possible if the sun is bright enough.

    Ah Lau, invite u a trip to JBP, just u and me, with Sigma glasses, how?

    Even can take the same cab since your home is 5 minutes to mine now.

    Seriously, I'll get hold of u one day, wanna have a try with 120-300 and 1D, as well as the performance of 50-500 on 1D.

    mylau : can you repost the test shot ? Seems to be deleted from pbase.

    Quite interested in the lens. could be a cheaper way to get to 600mm
