    Default Filters for flash

Hi just wondering if anyone uses 81B gel filters to change their flash light to tungsten color (for color balancing) so that the foreground colour and background colors match in indoor lighting?

anyone know where to get some or cheap substitutes?
Believe it. And it will be so.

I do it with my commercial work, however the gels are not that cheap (Wrattens in 12x12" sheet is the most economical way to go, or Lee filters if they are cheaper).

Alternatively you can use on camera filtration and a colour temperature meter to measure the mixed CT and then apply the correct decimired filters.

There are no cheap substitutes for on flash filtration
