[ Road Trip ] - Muar - 13th December 2008 (Day Trip)

Was wondering if there are anyone who is interested in making a one day road trip up to Muar on 29th November 2008 or 13th December 2008. We shall be leaving early morning (like 6am) and head into Muar, and return at night after supper. This will be a one day trip.

As per normal, each car will make up of 3-4 pax per car, unless otherwise (like children traveling with parents).

Let me hear your thoughts.

anyway to me it is fine. it like going to pulua ubin in the morning return at night.

I am new in DSLR, so i hope that thru this trip i can learn from you all.
I will go by own since i will be in Muar on that day (becz i am muarian)

welcome... seriously we heard of really good food in muar. great!!! we got a guide!

the last time we pass by there, we were looking for good food, no luck as we are not familar.. haha

Hey, that would be nice! Good to know that we have friends all over the place from the forums! That is awesome... the first place we went to the other day was Giant (across the bridge!) hahaha... and tried to take some riverside images but all lame....

So thank you in advance for wanting to help being our guide. It will be fun to meet friends and do some shooting together.

Anyone is welcome, regardless you use an Olympus/Four Thirds camera or not. This is not the ClubSECRET_SOCIETY... this is a place where photographers gather... and if you are on a different system, all the better... we can all get together and share knowledge and discuss photography and bond together.

There seem to be a lot of action centred around the bus terminal (street shooting) and the river (landscape/people). And also, the buildings are pretty unique and the first thing I noticed about Muar is that the roads are wider too. Must be good city planning.

6th December - Jurong Bird Park (Birding with Olympus)

13th December - Road Trip to Muar

And... tentatively, 20th Dec Road Trip to Kota Tinggi.

my colleague who is from kota tinggi mention that beautiful waterfall there and abt 1 hr drive to desaru... woo...
