oh what i meant is those printer (pple) in printing studio.
since u are printing on yr on, then u should print as according to sizes like A4 , A3 etc... why then are the Rs necessary.

If you are doing a scaling, then that will depend on the programe use.

Agree with jtnet. For the simple fact that an A4 or A3 paper ISN'T in the exact same proportion as any of the R sizes. If you notice that when you print a photo file onto an A4 paper, cropping occures.

Super 8R is bigger than A4 (an inch longer)

A4 is 8 X 11, S8R is 8 X 12.

actually A4 is 8.27 by 11.69

not very much diff. 0.2 inch either way

Like I said, closest is Super 8R, I didn't say it is exactly that.
