since u are printing on yr on, then u should print as according to sizes like A4 , A3 etc... why then are the Rs necessary. If you are doing a scaling, then that will depend on the programe use. |

Agree with jtnet. For the simple fact that an A4 or A3 paper ISN'T in the exact same proportion as any of the R sizes. If you notice that when you print a photo file onto an A4 paper, cropping occures.

A4 is 8 X 11, S8R is 8 X 12. |

actually A4 is 8.27 by 11.69
not very much diff. 0.2 inch either way

Like I said, closest is Super 8R, I didn't say it is exactly that.
