Sony current alpha line up do not have the 50mm f1.8. It haave the 50mm f1.4. However, the 50mm f1.7 which is part of the older lens line up from the the alpha-mount Minolta lens , could still be found sold on used equipment sites.

Minolta has about 2 models of AF 50mm f1.7 (the original and RS - restyled version) they are quite plentiful on the market.
