hello peepz,
i need some help on selecting a suitable tripod.. i'm looking to take macro, portrait and night photography with the tripod but i can't really decide on these 2: 055xprob + 486rc2 and 190xprob + 488rc2 below are the stats i have gathered from the manfrotto website 190xprob + 488rc2 Max height: 10.8 + 146 = 156.8cm Max height column down = 10.8 + 122 = 132.8cm minimum height = 10.8 + 8.5 = 19.3cm weight = 0.67 + 1.8 = 2.47kg closed length = 10.8+57 = 67.8cm load capacity = 5kg 055xprob + 486rc2 Max height: 10 + 178.5 = 188.5cm Max height column down = 10 + 142 = 152cm minimum height = 10 + 10 = 20cm weight = 0.46 + 2.4 = 2.86kg closed length = 10 + 65.5 = 75.5cm load capacity = 6kg any advices? TIA

ballhead in critical.
out of the 2 ball head, my choice is 488RC2 now is 190Xprob vs 055Xprob, what is the requirement height? otherwise 190Xprob will be just nice in term of weight. BTW I am using 190Xprob and I am 1.73m tall. I dun require such higher tripod.
