Having to tackle many issues alone when younger,I've learned to seperate emotions from thoughts completely.
The only emotions that eat me up is anger and sadness still.

    "Only two virtues are enough;
Why should the good stand in need of many?
Anger lived like a lightning flash
And friendship enduring like a line inscribed on a rock"

Saddness as in being miserable, unable to forgive, wanting to deceive or being ungrateful
can be controlled. The same with anger.

this ninja cow does not look agile and nimble. Is it a useful ninja?

    it matters not.

the cow is a ninja.. even if it is not agile and nimble, it strikes fear into the hearts of its opponents..

I'd say ignorance too, but it can work in both ways, as they say, ignorance is bliss sometimes.

ignorance is the night of the mind, but a night without moon and star - confucious

    An interesting follow up:

    A person asked Buddha:
    “Are you a God?”

    Buddha’s reply was
    “No.”

    “Are you an Angel?”
    “No.”

    “Then what are you?”
    “I am Awake.”

    -- Unknown Source

    ----------------------------------------------------
However in many cases especially when
something is done against the law, saying that
you don't know or are ignorant won't put
you out of the punishment. Maybe it is wiser
to be awaked than to be in ignorance.

I think selfishness is really a tricky subject for discussion.

Do you sometimes agree that we cannot give what we don't have?

A well known saying from Aristotle:

"Happiness is the desire behind all other desires. Happiness is anything but selfish".

Do you folks think that all human beings have the capacity to be happy?
