Default G3 / G5 users ...

i need help ... can u set ur cam to aperture priority mode

and then just use the cam and point to any parts of ur house except the windows / sky

help me check something ... cause no matter where i point ... in the house except the sky
it seems to always have this settings ... 1/60 F(any f)
with or without flash ...

with the internal flash it seems like it can go to 1/200 .. etc

but with external why is it always 1/60

thats the slowest sync speed the cam can go...

for external flash and G5, shutter limits are 1/60, 1/200 (or 250?)
the reason behind this is the 'daylite' syncrho is on...

this means the camera will default to 1/60 (which is the slowest shutter speed for hand held) to ensure ur shots look sharp...

if u want slower, u will have to set the SLOW SYNCHRO ON... this way there is no more limit to how slow ur shutter is with flash on..

try it, and u see ur shots now can go slower than 1/60...

one of the many caveats of using a G series... took me so long to find this out hahhaha

good luck
