thats the slowest sync speed the cam can go...
for external flash and G5, shutter limits are 1/60, 1/200 (or 250?) the reason behind this is the 'daylite' syncrho is on... this means the camera will default to 1/60 (which is the slowest shutter speed for hand held) to ensure ur shots look sharp... if u want slower, u will have to set the SLOW SYNCHRO ON... this way there is no more limit to how slow ur shutter is with flash on.. try it, and u see ur shots now can go slower than 1/60... one of the many caveats of using a G series... took me so long to find this out hahhaha good luck |
