7 mil is quite good. can fit a lot of things if u really want to squeeze.
i have 30d with batt grip, 17-40, 70-200 580ex (all about the same size as yours) still got space to put my video cam (sony cx12) and probably can squeeze a smaller lens (50mm type) with no problem. for your consideration. |

You may use Lowepro Stealth Report AW400D to carry these items. NIkon 70-200 can be inserted vertically into the above bag when NOT mounted on the DSLR body.

Other than the Crumpler or Lowerpro Stealth Reporter, you can also take a look at the new range of Kata Digital Photo Series shoulder bags models KT DC-443 or 445. I have almost the same camera gear set-up as you and was in the same situation, I almost made-up my mind to buy the Lowepro Stealth Reporter 400AW until I came across the Kata series and fell in love with it immediately. It has such a stylish exterior and the interior is well design and built to hold and protect all your expensive equipment according to your needs but the best thing of all is that the price is only 2/3 that of the Lowepro and the Crumpler and the quality is the same, if not better. ![]() I think no words will be able to describe it and I suggest you take a look at their website at www.kata-bags.com and decide for yourself but if you want my advise, get it and use it well, you will have no regrets buying it. ![]() |

Try looking at the bigger brother, their newest addition to the Digital Photo range, the DC445. I believe it will fit the 70-200 as I have it as well and it fits perfectly with some room to spare too. |

So are Domke's. My Domke got totally trashed by mud, rain, sun, people, etc etc in Vietnam, and it's still intact and in great condition.

If you need to mount your 70-200 onto camera.
Have a look at the Think Tank, Urban Disguise 35 or UD 50. Can mount "tall-wise", just lift flap and pull out. I am using the UD35, but usually mount the 17-55 f/2.8. Plus notebook computer for everyday carry. 70-200 f/4 can easily fit onto the side.
