RED start fighting with A900 and 5DMK2

Does anybody takes this RED seriously? I just googled it and everyone was just laughing and poking fun at it...

Reminds me of the days of the Atari Jaguar, when the specs were released, everyone was like WOW.

And when the product came out, it was like...... pui!

RED's high definition video cameras come with sensors 4 times the size of normal HD cams. Accordingly this means 4 times as defined a video. If they can incorporate this into DSLRs, i dunno what will happen liao...

I won't laugh at them... they've a seriously important idea cos they have the silicon know-how with regard to sensor design... and their camera if it delivers all that it promises will be the first serious pro level camera that will seamlessly merge video and still photography at a price point that will break canon and Nikon's hold on the pro-journalist market... imagine if you're a journalist covering a war, a game, riot, etc where you need a fast still camera, and would also like to take videos at the same time... it could change the way photo and video journalism is done...

Ideas are just ideas like words without actions.
They are pretty well known to release half done products with buggy firmwares and then using their customers as guinea pig to test out related errors.

Oh and might I add
It is said that they don't have AF mechanism....all is done by calculating DOF...
