Some questions!! PLS HELP!!
I juz bought the nikon cp3100 and was wondering hw is the battery life if i am using sanyo 2100mah batteries?? And another thingy i noticed is the xtra batteries which i charged earlier,and left it on the shelf and when i wanted to replace the exhausted batteries,mi cam showed mi that the battery's power is half,issit mi camera is spoilt??thankzzz

Rechargeable batteries do not hold their charge for ever. How long did you leave them 'on the shelf'? The longer it is, the less charge they will have when you finally use them.

Royce has it. The shelf life of NiMH and NiCD is awful...any longer than a month and they should be run through a conditioner. Your camera is fine...the self-discharge rate of nickel cells is very high.

Other than that... new batteries need to flex their muscles through a few charge and discharge cycle. They'll hold their charge and last longer percharge after that...
