IMHO, the hex screw in front of the shutter is not to calibrate focusing system. If we change it, we may lose the infinity of the lens.

![]() yupe..we may lose the infinity focus, but it's only if we move it more than..hmm...about 120~160 deg CMIIW (closest distance for focus also can be damaged) if u set the position of the filter correctly, u'll no need to move it more than 10 deg for f1.2 or f1.4..
