Unlike the 1.5x or 2x Kenko Teleplus TC, this AF Extension tube will not degrade the Pentax optics in any way.

It is the only extension tube that allows AF and open aperture metering/viewing for Pentax AF/DSLR cameras. You can also use it on big telephotos to get them to focus a few feet closer for. Yes, it serves to reduce the minimum focusing distance of a lens and reduce the maximum focusing distance.

Use this on the DFA 100 Macro, if even 1:1 is not enough for you. All in all, its a great accessory to have because you don't loose quality.

Totally brand new and unused. With box and instructions(though the manual says Nikon but it serves the same).

Please be aware that AF will work properly only if there is enough light and contrast on the subject to activate the camera's AF sensors.
