Default Underwater with A40 ? (External Flash)

Hi does anyone know if A40 with the underwater casing can use any external strobes or flash?

Yes for slave fired digital strobes - sea & sea YS90DX, inon D180 etc. These strobes are fired via a fibre optic cable, and are designed to ignore the 'pre-flash' of a digicam. The fibre optic cable connector is velcroed onto the housing.

Cannot use traditional uw strobes and TTL cos you dun have a hotshoe on the A40 nor a sync port on the housing. But getting the latter puts the whole game in a different price bracket althogether!!

Hi kng. Where can we see the sea & sea dc collections in singapore?

The official sea & sea distributor is at Adelphi, 3rd floor. S&S makes 3 strobes which can be used with digicams - YS25DX, YS90DX and YS90Auto. The YS25DX set is about S$800+ and the other 2 around S$1050-1150. S&S has a good website you may want to visit first.
