Nice pictures but a touch over exposed on some of them.

Love the shot of the Crown Casino in Melbourne

hhmmm now that you mention it, this shot is especially noisy.... hhmmm probably coz it was so dark from where I shot the Arts Centre... I was on Prince Bridge I think...

    Thanks for your comments!

I have pretty much exactly the same pic of Darling harbor taken last week, when I went there with my gf for dinner to black birds cafe. I'll post them up here so you can check it out. I did mine with a canon EOS 10D, just so u can see the difference.

Hi shocky, yamcake and tangles112, thanks for your comments!

Will try to reduce the shutter speed the next time when i take night shots to see if it helps... i'm using the iso400 film as well so that might affect too...

anyway will look forward to your pictures then tangles112

    Yarra river

image one:- thats the art center...
why don't u go over to the other side to take? where the flower clock is. the picture looks abit too cluttered for me.

    image two:-
Crown casino... on weekends during winter, they will spend moolah sending balls of fire into the night sky. If u're there during winter, should take those....
IMHO, its not bad an angle..but i somehow find it abit too dark....maybe its just my eyes... use a tripod too

if u have some time next time, go to St. Kilda's beach.... bring along a tripod

wait for the moon to fall into the sea

that should be around June? or somethign liddat...

the moon will be super BIG!

wow plsoong, din know abt those things... din expect to be sent to melbourne so din find out anything.... plus i was like all alone there... :|

I was in melbourne for only like 1 and half days and during the day I had to be at my client's office.... so really had very little time to take pictures

for the crown's casino (just found that out after i'm back!), it was quite late in the night plus it's winter time so i put it on the bridge "railing" as my "tripod"... it was really cold and the idea of carrying a tripod around and setting it up did not seem like a good idea at all... :|
one thing though, i can feel the tram moving when i was taking this picture so that might be why the picture doesn't seem so sharp too

Melbourne is great when you're alone. BTW Crown is 24x7 You can go there anytime for drinks, food and try out your luck.

As for the bridge, you didn't stay up late enough , The last tram is around 12.30am. With the time +3 hours of Singapore, sooooo...
