Default 6800

I am also looking at the Fuji 6800. How much is it going in the 2nd hand market as well ?

Looking to buy a 2nd hand 3030.. Any idea how much is it going at right now on the market ? Thanks!

Which one do you think is a better choice ? Pls advise. THanks!

First, why the 6800? It is a pretty old cam. Nothing wrong with old cams, it just that you are still expected to pay about 400-500 for these 2 cams (the 6800 and the 3030). For that kind of money, you are better off getting the newer 3 MP cam, comes with the same specs than these 2 you mentioned.

My comments: the 3030 gives sharp pictures. Colours do need a little tweaking as it appears flat. AF is a little slow. But it has a good feature set nonetheless, with full manual functions. Uses AA batteries, but is a guzzler, so be prepared to get more batteries.

As for the 6800, do not know enough to make any comments.

I will not pay more than $400 for either of these (but i will not pay for the 6800 because i know nothing about it, but if you have prior eperience with this, then why not).

This is my opinion on the second hand price, existing owners may beg to differ. I know how hazardous it gets when giving opinions on second hand prices, but i believe for cams such as these, with no warranty, and more than 1 year old, that is about the kind of price there is now.

Actually, I would have recommended you get the A70, but with news that the A80 will be out real soon, you could either wait for a A70 price drop, or get the new A80 when it comes out. Really depends on your budget and taste.
