Default Shooting in the Padi Field

Hi

I chance upon this filming session in the Padi Field.

C&C welcomed although I think nothing really technical involved in this type of pictures.

Hi, the location is very good, however, I think the whole pic is not in focus. The only slightly sharp object is the lower right palm tree.
Not too sure what's the pic is trying to tell. The 2 photographers on the background is really, totally unnecessary.

I would think if the flag and those long things that the kids are holding, are your objective,
then it will be better if the shot was taken from a lower angle, zoom them in with the higher ground as background.

This type of pic can turn out very good, because of the landscape and activity (flag bearer and kids), so please don't waste the opportunity.
Cheers

Hi

This picture was digitally zoomed in using a 12MP camera shooting at 50mm. You were right, it was a great opportunity wasted as I should have switched to a 55-200mm lens. But I need really fast lens change speed cos the filming and the marching as for short period of time before director shout "cut".

The picture actually was much sharper before I down size the resolution and picture quality for the 200kb requirement. Any idea how to downsize properly?
