    Look up the sky

Martians are approaching Earth to wish you a Happy Birthday!

O.T. : Heard that when taking photo of Mars, some sort of IR filter will help to increase the details, can normal IR filter do it? or need special rated IR filter?

    It depends

Baader make a special IR blocking filter for video/webcam and there are other factors that determine the blocking filter requirements such as sensitivity of the sensor in the IR frequency range.

sorry for OT, what about the Philips PCVC740K webcam and Coolpix 4500? what IR filter is required?
