    Bro, a hot pixel happen on either a display device or a capture device. Display device like LCDs can have pixels which are stuck on regardless of whatever is displayed, this does not have any effect on the photo captured on your camera if you unfortunately have such a "malfunctioning" LCD on your digital camera.

    On the other hand, the CCD or CMOS sensor within a camera can also exhibit similar effect. This time round, the pixel is stuck on, recording a fixed dot on the photo, i.e. red, green, blue, or anything in between, on the shot you have taken. You will basically see the dot recorded regardless of what you are taking at the same place on every shot. This is very different from thermal noise induced hot spots when you use high ISO settings, i.e. above ISO 800 or 1600, these "hot spots" are random and changes from shot to shot.     put it simply, if you take very cloudy night sky and and u view on ur computer monitor, there u see stars appearing, u have hot pixel on ur camera sensor.

    pls take note that there is no garrenty that brand new camera of the shelf will be 100% hot pixel free.

    How does the warranty cover this area?
