Yeah Ferrari made some mistakes that should not have been. But humans make mistakes, so i still think the engine failure with 3 laps to go is the most devastating for Massa.

Just hope Ferrari will reduce such mistakes next season.

Kinda miss F1 now that I have to wait till next March for next season.

I do watch it now and then if I happen to catch it on StarSports. But it does not excite as much as F1, and of course all the drivers are unknown to me, so not much interest there.

But I do follow WRC, so thats another racing competition for me to follow, but this season is ending soon, plus the driver's championship had already been won by Sebastien Loeb (again). At least the new WRC season will start from Jan next year.

Alonso is staying with Renault for 2 more years. Based on their last 3 races performance, think they will be very strong next year.

I dun really watch A1. Dun quite understand their format. I like FIA's GT racing but it isn't live and just have to watch their highlights show. Watch WRC too but kinda sian, not really into TT style racing.

The other motorsport shown live is Indy.........dun understand the excitement of going round and round in ovals.

MotoGP also ended, so there isn't much racing to watch except A1.

Indy is boring. It only get interesting when all the cars start crashing into each other.

I think I would rather watch a demolition derby than an Indy car race

lol the worst thing is to see the lap counter and see 200 over plus laps remaining....zzzZZZZzzz

Those Americans have some really weird ideas about sport that the rest of the world dun understand. Other US sport i dun understand is drag racing (all over in secs and go for ad break!) and their NFL. But basketball and ice hockey are cool.

For those who wondered what reaction the Ferrari boss will have with pork slice victory

    Ferrari boss smashes TV

MILAN - FERRARI president Luca di Montezemolo smashed a television set after seeing McLaren's Lewis Hamilton snatch the Formula One world title from Felipe Massa in last weekend's season-ending Brazilian Grand Prix.

'I broke the television, I must tell the truth,' Montezemolo told a news conference at a Ferrari event in Mugello on Sunday.

'When a television breaks it makes a terrible bang. My daughter in the other room was given an awful fright. Luckily we had another television so I was able to watch the podium ceremony, which I enjoyed.'

Ferrari's Massa won his home grand prix and was poised for championship victory before Hamilton overtook a slowing Timo Glock on the final bend to finish in the fifth place he needed to clinch the title.

'I reckon that in the history of F1, we have never seen a world championship decided on the last bend of the last lap of the last grand prix,' added Montzemolo, who saw Ferrari driver Kimi Raikkonen steal the title last season in the final race.

'Miracles, when they happen, usually only happen once. I say that because last year was a miracle. A repeat is usually impossible. In Brazil, with Massa, we were in the process of producing another miracle.'

Montezemolo had words of praise for Raikkonen. The Finn was out of the running for the title this year but helped Ferrari to retain the constructors' championship and spurred on Massa.

'Kimi, was it really you in flesh and bone or was it a friend, a double, who raced for Ferrari in the final grand prix? Because I think you were tired Kimi and you let a friend drive for a bit,' the president said.

'Joking aside, Kimi has been a world champion right up to the last race this year. He has contributed to two constructors' titles. His points were fundamental. With all respect for Lewis Hamilton...I'm happy with my drivers, the best pair in the world.'

Montezemolo made no reference to the Ferrari board's recent threat to review its presence in Formula One if plans for a standard engine for all teams go ahead from 2010. -- REUTERS

I would say he is a passionate bad loser.

Lucky Massa is not a bad loser like his boss.

this is shocking. never thought a person of high status behave in such a lowly manner. i thought the uncalled for comments in SG was a one-off thing... but to react again, hmmm
