Just found out that the SKC is having another Championship Dog Show this Sunday (2nd Nov) at the Singapore Expo.
are flash allowed in dog shows? or even taking photographs? thanks.
I am also wondering of the same thing.
Will be asking before I go in.

they allow any lens in the hall. But the ring is very near the audience and you have to be in the first row to catch all the action.
Everyone will be standing so if you have long lens, standing behind will have some view blocked.
Of cos you can bring everything cos who knows you might find it useful.
definitely no flash allowed and it will distract the dogs performing the various routines. high ISO required. the place is not that big ....max 300mm should do the job if you want close up.
be sure to ask the owner permission by firing off your cam, they are pretty sensitive to this.

Be tactful. Many owners like their pets to have some privacy.
Enjoy the show, it's always great to see show dogs in action.
