What happened to accounts of Night86mare and The Question?

Hi, I think some of you may have noticed, but how come Night86mare's and The Question's accounts have been suspended? Is it by accident? I did a search on their posts and haven't found anything that could have caused them to get their accounts suspended?
Can anybody shed any light on this? They are, in my opinion, valued members of CS, and do give helpful inputs on how to improve on photography, so I am puzzled on their suspension.

ok, I just read through it. But I guess they were having a heated argument about some of their views on certain things. But no foul language was used, and in my personal opinion, although at some point in the threads, it was getting a little personal, but then haven't we seen other members argue with each other? So I still don't get it as to how their accounts were suspended?!?!?

well ... i think its just suspension ... not DEREGISTERED ...
take it as a cooling period for all parties involved ....

I guess that the mods here aren't really sensitive. Its just that they have to protect the interests of others. Now that Longbean has mentioned it, I kinda got mixed up with suspended and banned. Since they are gonna be back, I guess its not much of an issue then. But then how many days are members usually suspended for? sounds machiam like soccer players kena suspended...

I know one ClubSNAP-er who was suspended for 2 weeks...... he got into an argument with others over some 'prices to charge for photographing services' thingy....

I believed both will be back within 2 weeks.

i admire some of Night86mare's HDR works. it will be sad if see him deregistered.

Yup, it is red card. You receive warning is yellow card. Last time I three time red card kena suspended. So is it like three suspension will kena deregistered?

after reading the thread, I think they all need time to clam down... OMG!!!

hope they dun take it too hard and forget abt it and move on.

It will be such a pity if we lose them.

That is exactly the point of the suspensions - for the parties involved to step away for a while, take some time off the forums and chill out.

For a more detailed explanation of how the suspension, deregistration and infraction system/process works, please read the following - Reporting Posts and User Infraction System.

We feel that this is a fair, objective and above all, documented way of tracking violations by users, compared the way we used to do deregistrations/suspensions which could be entirely subjective.
