Default Admiralty Park

Hey guys...
Here are some pics I took over the weekend when I went to the Admiralty Park with some friends. The park though is new but has a rustic nature trail too...with stream...squirrels...monkeys...and mosquitoes. Haha.

C&C appreciated. Thx.

Nice series and composition! However, # 1 and #4 a bit disconcerting to me as the lopsidedness makes me feel offbalance.. but that may be just me.

But love all the colours and nice feeling that it invokes in me.

Thx.

Yes...the Monkeys are the highlight of the outing. Though it got a bit scary when a few of them run across the path in front of you. The Squirrels are too fast and are too far into the shadows for my lens to capture. Monkeys are good. They like to sit around and let us take photos of them. Hehe.

What I admire about these kind of photography is how the good photographer can take the most ordinary of scenes or objects and transform it to a great and impactful picture. So many of those in these series - but #6 and #2 specially call out to me.

I would probably just walk by not giving 2nd thoughts. I guess this separates the good photographers from the amateurs.

Thx photoedit, velasco & serametin for the kind comments.

Velasco,
I bought the 18-200mm VR Nikkor lens from Cathay Photo (Peninsula) in September at $1050. I had a $100 voucher given to me by my ex colleagues so technically speaking I only paid $950 for it. Hehe
